Solen capacitors are made in France under the design of Denis Oulette. The Solen, Polypropylene film capacitors first made their way to the USA when a young Denis came to Summer CES in Chicago armed with a suitcase full of samples. These large film caps were virtually unheard of at this time, with small electrolytics being the norm of the day.

The present day version still brings the highest of quality and sound reproduction. Whether you can “hear” a difference in capacitors, lab measurements show the Solen cap to be the most accurate capacitor currently manufactured. We use these as our first choice in network design.
