The BG, Neo 8 could be considered a great mid/tweeter. It can be crossed relatively low and has great top end extention for most. This is the big brother to the Neo 3 and shares the same technology - using an Aluminum conductor etched to a Kaladex membrane driven by rows of neodymium magnets.
These drivers are available in a wider dispersion(at about 8K and up) PDR model.
The large peak at the top end disappears off axis or can be removes with a simple notch filter. As with the Neo 3, SPL and horizontal off axis dispersion is great, but vertical does not do as well(they should be ear level). These can be stacked as well to form an excellent basis for a line array. (does not have a back chamber)
