0.82mH, Litz Wire Inductor

The benefits of Litz wire are well known – it reduces the skin effect and also the proximity effect.  It lowers eddy current and lowers the operating temperature.  These benefits occur at more higher frequencies so we are stocking values normally used on tweeters and midranges.  16ga seems to be a good compromise between cost and performance.

If you need a value not listed, we can unwind to your specification or special order any values higher than listed.

The windings are held with cable ties and then dipped in a water-based polyurethane varnish.  The lead-in wires are tinned with lead-free solder
