The Bohlender Graebener, Neo 8PDR
This is a great mid/tweeter. It can be crossed relatively low and has great top end extension for most. This is the big brother to the Neo 3 and shares the same technology – using an Aluminum conductor etched to a Kaladex membrane driven by rows of neodymium magnets.
This is the wide dispersion PDR version. The regular Neo 8 is no longer available
The large peak at the top end disappears off-axis or can be removed with a simple notch filter. As with the Neo 3, SPL and horizontal off-axis dispersion are great, but vertical does not do as well(they should be ear level). These can be stacked as well to form an excellent basis for a line array. (does not have a back chamber)
A metal faceplate is available that attaches with machine screws.
Imp – 4 ohm
SPL – 92.5dB
Width – with plate, 4/5″
Height – with plate, 9″
Depth – 10mm
