Nephila, Bare Bones Kit (Pair)

Product Description

The Nephila kit, by Ben “Wolf” Shaffer.

Ben has put together a very good sounding 6.5″ two way utilizing a Kevlar cone woofer and Air Motion Transform tweeter.

The Bare Bones kit includes the drivers, crossover parts and build plans:

• 2 x Airborne,  RT-5002 AMT
• 2 x HiVi, F6. 6.5″ mid woofer
• 2 x Crossover parts – brands and wire gauge specified by Ben.  Caps are slightly different from what Ben had on hand, but he’s specified Solen, Sonic Cap, and Audyn.  All inductors are perfect layer types.

The Nephila was a class winner at a recent Midwest Audio fest and Vance Dickason declared it “The most commercially viable design here”!
