ScanSpeak Classic 18W/8545-01 New 7″ Mid Woofer Paper Cone

This Scan-speak 7″ features the heavily damped and carbon fiber impregnated paper cone that dampens resonances normally associated with stiff cones. The magnet system is the new SD-1 system which eliminates modulation and dynamic distortion, as well as clipping distortion created as it exceeds its maximum linear excursion. These designs all together make a drive unit with a very “open” sound with excellent detailing combined with low coloration and very precise imaging. Cast frame, rubber surround. This has to be the most popular 7″ woofer in the DIY market.
